The staff at the school have taught our children with a gentle touch and the focus on their development of their gifts and talents in an individualized and group setting. Our family is multi-cultural and we have especially enjoyed the emphasis on different cultures, languages, and developing them into global citizens.  Our children have arrived into elementary school with advanced levels in reading, math, science, and social studies.   Our older children continue to excel with high scores in their later grades.

Our family’s experience at MIS has been wonderful.  The Director, Ms. Amanda Swiger, and her team of teachers gave our children the benefits of a challenging educational curriculum of the Montessori Method with a loving, supportive, and gracious approach.  MIS students are self-starters and demonstrate a natural yearn for learning.  The Montessori Method really taps into the intuitive way children of this age think and learn by employing hands on learning in multiple topics from math, reading, and writing to geography, science, sensory exercises, and practice life skills. Our two children have fond memories of MIS, and MIS has given our children a beautiful and substantial introduction to school.
